I purchased the course recently and really think it's solid. I'll probably open up a youtube channel soon. I'd say I'm at the point where I can make music I really enjoy reliably and am confident enough to show it to other people and get good feedback on it. I personally like to use a lot of software, so everything is very compact and accessible.I consider myself somewhat intermediate: solid with music theory, sound design and how to make different types of beats/songs (trap, drill, r&b and pop) overall. At my home studio I have a pair of KRK Rokit 6s, an Apollo Twin Interface, a Nektar Panorama P6 and an Aston Spirit mic. My production environment is pretty basic. Tell us about your production environment and toys? It is essential to my music production in regards to workflow and sound quality. My favourite part about the program is that it is so easy to translate musical ideas from my head into Fl Studio. I have been playing piano for 7 years prior, so making a beat for the first time felt pretty natural. I typed in “how to make beats?” in google and Fl Studio was the first thing to pop up. I downloaded the FL Studio 9 trial on a random school night because I was bored. How did you start using FL Studio & what does it mean to your productions? The channel mainly focuses on tutorials towards FL Studio, music theory, and music production in general! Creating the youtube channel and providing value for others has been the turning point in my career! I created my Youtube channel January 2018 as a way to get my music out there! I had recently graduated university and had almost 10 years of Fl Studio experience so I thought I had a lot of knowledge to offer the community. From there, I started producing at the age of 14 and later went on to study music composition at the University of Guelph. I began playing piano at the age of 7 just as an extracurricular activity, but it later turned into a pretty deep passion of mine. I was introduced to music from a young age.
